VERNON HILLS, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--
CDW
(NASDAQ: CDW), a leading provider of technology solutions to
business, government, education and healthcare, today announced it was
named Google Enterprise's 2013 Global Partner of the Year for Google
Chrome. The award was presented on March 4 at the Google Enterprise
Global Partner Summit in San Francisco, Calif.
Google Enterprise recognized CDW for its proven track record of Chrome
implementations. In particular, much of CDW's Chromebook success in 2013
focused on the K-12 education market including Passaic City Schools,
Achievement First and Tuscaloosa City Schools. In these districts, and
many more across the country, learning became anytime/anywhere as
students and educators leveraged the Web as a teaching and learning
platform via Chromebook.
"We are proud to provide this recognition to CDW, which has consistently
demonstrated sales, deployment and support excellence to our customers
throughout 2013," said Mark Hodgson, head of Global Partner Programs at
Google.
"It is an honor to receive the Global Partner of the Year Award for
Google Chrome," said Matt Troka, senior vice president of product and
partner management, CDW. "Together with Google, CDW offers customers
across all of our markets a complete, affordable computing ecosystem
with a range of Chromebook options from the leading manufacturers
bundled with tools and CDW services for easy deployment and management."
